Waste Water Run through a filtration system including wire and cloths, as well as biodegradable "pool magic" to get out particulate matter.
Filtered onto an evaporation sheet. The evap sheet will be at least 3m by 3m (probably a bit larger) and made of a double layer of waterproof black canvas. This will be maintained each day by Dave Clooney to make sure it has no leaks and is functioning.
Old plastic water containers are going to be cut up with heavy duty shears and thrown away.
Non-Burnable Trash
Compacted and placed in heavy trash bags, sealed, and hauled off of the playa, to be brought to a paid landfill.
Burnable Trash
Burnable Trash will be allowed to air dry in a mesh bag, then double checked for non burnable parts (like adhesive tape), then taken to a community Burn Platform and burned. We will also have a chimney bucket to take some ashes away with us for disposal off of the playa.
Tents and Structures
All will be tied down using parachute cord and rebar stakes. Some of the bigger shade structures we have will be anchored to vehicles.
Noodle Bar Bowls / Utensils
We will encourage patrons to bring their own bowls and utensils. We will also have paper containers for noodles and wooden chopsticks which will be collected and placed with burnable trash.
MOOP, etc.
At least once a day, we will do a sweep of camp for anything that may have been dropped or blown in, and then sort it into prizes, trash, and burnable trash. These sorted groups will be disposed of as above, except for prizes, which will be kept.
Vehicle Leaks
All Vehicles will be checked for oil leaks or other leaks before we enter the playa. They'll be rechecked on the playa, and any found to be leaking will have drip pans and tarps placed to contain the leaks.
Community Clean Up
Having some walkers in camp, we will probably send patrols out to the trash fence to get trash and valuable prizes each day. They will carry large sacks to pick up the spoils and detritus of the event.
Camp Break Down
This will take place principally on Sunday. All communal structures will come down before the Temple Burn, and more sweeps will be done. We will leave at intervals on Monday morning, after doing the final sweep and site inspection.
